KATHMANDU, July 11: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced a cash reward for the players and officials of the national team that won the ACC U-16 East Zone Cup.
Each player and official will receive Rs 50,000, according to CAN’s decision.

CAN said the reward aims to encourage the players for their outstanding performance.
Nepal defended their title by defeating Singapore by 2 wickets in the final held on Saturday. Chasing the 114-run target set by Singapore, Nepal scored 117 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 29 overs.
With that, Singapore once again missed the opportunity to avenge their earlier defeat in the group stage.
Nepal had also lifted the title in 2023.
Nepal had secured a comfortable 6-wicket win over Singapore in the group stage, finishing at the top of their group.
