CA poll will set example for rest of world: Commissioner Gurung

AGHAKHANCHI, Oct 29: Election Commissioner Dolakha Bahadur Gurung has called on voters to be confident on the holding of Constituent Assembly (CA) election without any doubts and fear.



Commissioner Gurung, who has arrived here to monitor election activities, said this at a face-to-face program organized at Sandhikharka on     Tuesday morning.[break]



All preparations required for election are complete and there is nothing left to do for free and fair election, he said, urging voters not to cast any doubt about election.



There is right to boycott election in democracy but none has the privilege to disrupt election and prevent voters from exercising their franchise right, he added.



The Commissioner warned to take action against those who involve in violent anti-poll activities.



All security agencies have focused their efforts in ensuring security of candidate, voters and polling booths so the November 19 election will set an example to rest of the world, Gurung further said.



The Commission is effortful to reduce invalid voting in this election considering high invalid voting rate in earlier CA election, he informed.
