The bank will put forth a proposal for distributing bonus shares worth Rs 32 million and cash dividend worth Rs 1.6 million in its upcoming annual general meeting.
After distributing the bonus share, the paid-up capital of the bank will be Rs 352 million, the bank said in a statement.
NIC gets ISO certification
KATHMANDU, March 2: Nepal Industrial and Commercial Bank Limited (NIC) has received ISO 9001:2008 certification.
The bank received the certification for maintaining ´Qualities System on Commercial Banking Activities´, according to a statement issued on Tuesday.
“This certification endorses that the bank has been able to provide customers with service of international quality,” the statement added.
NIC had received ISO 9001:2000 certification for the first time in Nepal in 2006.
Syakar, Jyoti Bikash Bank join hands
KATHMANDU, March 2: Syakar Company Limited, the authorized dealer of Hero Honda and Honda bikes, has joined hands with Jyoti Bikash Bank for motorcycle financing.
“As per the agreement, Jyoti Bikash Bank will finance for the purchase of Honda and Hero Honda bikes at 15 percent interest rate with a rebate of 2 percent to be refunded if the payment is made regularly till the EMI (Equated Monthly Installments) tenure period.
Syakar Company has introduced this scheme to facilitate its customers with easy financing. It is available to all Nepali citizens between the age group of 18-60 years.
Jyoti Bikash Bank will finance up to 70 percent of the invoice value with maximum loan amount of Rs 200,000 and maximum tenure period of 3 years, according to the statement.
Everest Bank to issue 33 percent bonus shares
