KATHMANDU, Aug 5: A woman was seriously injured after a passenger bus rammed a scooter at Putalisadak this morning.
Neha Shah was injured after the Samkyuta Yatayat's bus (Ba 3 Kha 4897) en route to Ratna Park hit her scooter (Ba 63 Pa 3917) at 10:30 am, Inspector Sunil Jung Shah of Metropolitan Traffic Police Circle Durbar Marga told the National News Agency (RSS).
Shah is currently receiving treatment at the Bir Hospital's Trauma Centre. The bus driver and conductor are absconding.
The police have impounded the vehicle. Following the incident, irate locals and bus passengers vandalized the bus and caused traffic jam in the Bag Bazaar area. RSS
