KATHMANDU, Feb 20: Mountains, Monarchy and Maoists – Nepal was known for the 3Ms for the past few years. But post-Feb 19, the letter ‘B’ is what will rule the general mass.

Bryan Adams came, sang and sure did conquer thousands of hearts with his singing. A word was even coined as the concert reached its crescendo: “I’m so ‘Bryan-o-fied!”[break]

The Adams mania was quite evident in the dazed faces of 18,000 and in their persistent cries for “Once more!”

But for Brinda Singh, the memories of those 10 minutes will be especially etched in her mind forever.

Just like everyone else in the crowd, Singh was thrilled on seeing Bryan Adams live. But what happened with her that night was beyond her wildest dreams. She was singled out of among thousands of fans to come up onstage, share the limelight and sing with Adams.

Cashing in her joy into an opportunity, the banker performed a rocking duet with the Canadian rocker on “When You’re Gone” which he had sung with Spice Girl, Melanie C. Adding more to the perk, was the T-shirts Adams bestowed on Singh and her friends.

“I can’t believe this actually happened,” screamed an obviously elated Brinda after stepping down from the stage. “I love his music, and know most of his songs. And wow, this is a dream come true! Seriously I don’t know what to say, or think. I’m blank.”
