The doctors were agitating after an armed outfit placed a bomb at Dr Rajendra Prasad Sah’s residence last Thursday. “We are returning to work with a belief that everything will be fine,” Roshan Ali, the secretary of Nepal Medical Association, Narayani chapter, said.
Earlier on Tuesday, association’s delegation led by chairman Rabindra Prasad Singh sat for talks with acting Chief District Officer Ram Bilas Yadav and SP Rajendra Man Shrestha.
Meanwhile, Dr Sah also returned to work on Tuesday. “On Monday evening, Badal Singh [who had threatened him of life for not providing donation] called again and requested me to return to work,” Sah said. “He asked me to be normal and promised not to threaten sensitive sectors of the society.”
Badal Singh had threatened Dr Sah after asking for Rs 1 million donation.
