KATHMANDU, Sept 8: A person was injured after being hit by the vehicle used by Minister of State for Information and Communications Tapta Bahadur Bista at New Baneshwor on Thursday.
The vehicle with the registration no., Ba 1 Jha 7163, used by State Minister Bista hit a motorbike, Ba 48 Pa 9250, injuring the pillion rider.
The injured is receiving treatment at Everest Hospital.

Locals briefly picketed the vehicle following the incident.
Police had to use force to disperse the protestors and took the state minister to a safer place.
The incident took place when the State Minister Bista was heading to the Parliament.
