Likewise, Tharuhar Terai Party Nepal announced banda in Tharuhat region putting forward various nine-charter demands.

Transport entrepreneurs have announced further protest program citing the administration failed to book the accused even after a week elapsed since Shrestha was brutally attacked to death.

All means of transportation will be brought to a complete standstill in Narayani zone from today, said a press release issued by transport entrepreneurs in Chitwan.

The agitation program will continue till the criminals involved in the murder case were brought to justice, the entrepreneurs warned.

Mostly affected from the transport strike are women celebrating Teej festival. With vehicular movement bringing to a complete halt, women could not make movement to reach their destination in course of celebrating the festival.
