Kalikot, Feb 15: The sixth district convention of the Nepali Congress (NC) elected Harsha Bahadur Bam as the president of Kalikot district committee from the voting.
As per the vote counts completed this morning, Bam received 144 votes out of 272 votes cast. Bam’s rival Kali Bahadur Sahakari received 128 votes.

Likewise, Nanda Bahadur Singh was elected the secretary and Manraj Shahi vice-chairman.
Furthermore, a total of 11 persons including Motiram Bam, Man Bahadur Rokaya, Dan Bahadur Bam, Hikram Bista, Dharma Shahi, Karna Bir Tamata, Bhim Lama and others have been elected the party’s general convention representatives from Kalikot. RSS
