
ANNIFSU-R is protesting Tribhuvan University´s decision to scrap proficiency certificate level. They also closed down all higher secondary schools across the nation on Wednesday.
In Butwal, the students affiliated with the sister organization of the Maoist also vandalized six vehicles.
The vehicles torched belong to Nepal Drinking Water Corporation.
Meanwhile, a group of students burnt a government vehicle at Exhibition Road, Kathmandu.
The vehicle owned by District Education Office Mahottari was torched by the students in front of Balmiki Campus. They were returning from Maitighar after staging a demonstration. The outer part of the jeep was completely burnt.

The vehicle owned by the District Education Office, Mahottari, was torched by the Maoist students in front of Balmiki Campus. The outer part of the jeep was completely burnt.
Earlier, ANNFSU-R students staged demonstrations at Maitighar from 10 to 11 a.m. to protest the government´s decision to scrap Proficiency Certificate Level from Tribhuvan University. They also clashed with the police while trying to break into the prohibited area near Singha Durbar.
