Speaking at the 59th anniversary function of Shree Gambhir Samundra Setu Higher Secondary School, on Monday, Minister Pun said the parties agreed on the main issue--restructuring of the state, which needed consensus among all parties. [break]
Minister Pun further said the country has not been developed due to conflict, and that his party is committed to finalizing peace process at any expense for the country´s development as per the peoples´ wishes.
Education is the main basis of development of the country, therefore, 17 per cent of the total budget has been allocated to the education sector this year, Minister Pun said.
On the occasion, District Education Officer Narayan Prasad Bhattarai and Principal of the School Himali Garg said they have planned to bring district educational plans and programs for the development of education.
