KATHMANDU, April 29: The government has confirmed 51 new cases of Covid-19 on Saturday. The latest bulletin issued by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) says that 51 people were infected with the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to the MoHP, 1,238 swab samples were tested during this period. Among them, 22 people out of 205 tested positive for the virus through PCR test while 29 people were found to be infected with Covid-19 out of 1033 people through antigen tests. As a result, there were a total of 51 people who tested positive for the virus.

Similarly, the number of active cases of coronavirus has reached 361, while 27 people are in isolation, eight in ICU and one person is receiving ventilator support.
With the increase in infection rate, MoHP has asked everyone to administer booster doses against Covid-19.
