Deputy Superintendent at the Area Police Office, Mirchaiya, Shyam Chaudhary, said that around 12,000 litres of petrol and diesel was confiscated from the bus, Na 4 Kha 3788, heading to Kathmandu from Birtamod of Jhapa district.
The bus being escorted by police met with an accident at 3:00 am after it collided with another bus, Na 5 Kha 6594, coming from the opposite direction.
Some passengers received minor injuries in the accident, added Chaudhary. The fuel was reportedly being taken to Kathmandu. RSS
