RAJBIRAJ, Feb 16: A youth has gruesomely murdered his 11-year-old cousin sister after rape in the district, police revealed on Friday.
According to police, 18-year-old Rajdev Mandal of Khadga Municipality-9 raped and killed the daughter of his uncle.
Even though the incident took place on February 8, police had not revealed the fact in the course of investigation into the case thinking that the perpetrator would escape.

Accused Rajdev was paraded amidst a press conference organized at the District Police Office, Saptari today.
Similarly, a 12-year-old boy is reported to have raped a two-year-old minor in Chhinnamasta Rural Municipality of the district. Police have taken the perpetrator under control.
