109 new vehicles for army

KAHTMANDU, Aug 13: Nepal Army (NA) received 109 military utility vehicles on Thursday night donated by the Indian government. NA received 30 trucks of 7 tons capacity, 20 trucks of 2.5 tons capacity, 35 military jeeps and 24 mine protective vehicles from the Sunauli border point.



The vehicles were received at Butwal-based 22 number bridage of NA.



"The military vehicles were shipped as a part of commited and continued military assistance given by India government to NA," said Ramindra Chettri, spokesperson of NA.
