MAHOTTARI, Dec 14: A man died and other sustained injuries in a Scorpio-motorcycle collision in the district on Friday morning.
The deceased has been identified as motorcyclist Ashish Thapa, 30, of Dhanusha Mithila Municipality-10, Lalgadh, according to Police Inspector Kishor Acharya of Area Police Office, Gaushala.
The incident took place when the Scorpio, Ba 18 Cha 7945, heading to Gaushala from Bardibas collided with a motorcycle, Ja 12 Pa 1101, coming from the opposite direction.

The injured is Santosh Budhathoki, 26, from the same locality.
He is receiving treatment at a health post based in Bardibas.
