BHOJPUR, Sept 3: A couple died after being buried in a landslide.
Bharat Rai, 58, of Jimigaon in Kulung-6 and his 54-year-old wife Rammani died after the house they were living in was buried in the landslides triggered by heavy rainfall last night.
The house in Kulung-9 is owned by Jagatman Rai, District Police Office, Bhojpur said.
Their bodies were recovered from the rubble of the house by a police team with the support of locals. Two cows, two calves and four sheep also perished in the incident. RSS
