Locals accused the duo of trafficking a 20-year-old girl of Morang and another around the age, 26, of Damak-14 to a hotel in Jalpaigudhi of India on last Monday.
The event has come to light when relatives of the trafficked girls rescued and brought them back to home from Jalpaigudhi-based hotel on Monday evening, informed Bijaya Rajbamshi.
We took two women traffickers under control and handed over to police when they had approached the girl of Damak-14 in an attempt to bring her to India again by showing allures, said Santosh Kumar Rai.
Necessary investigation into the arrestees is on, said Police Inspector at Area police Office, Damak, Milan Bhattarai.
