Truck plunge into Trishuli, two missing

DHADING, June 9: The driver along with one of his two accompanies are missing after their truck veered 90 meters off the road and plunged into the Trishuli River at Jogimara-Tikrangkhani of Benighat Rorang rural municipality, Dhading.

The truck, Na 5 Kha 3415 was heading to Kathmandu from Bhairahawa when it fell off the road on Friday night.

Those missing are driver Top Bahadur Shrestha (27) and Shyam, residents of Sindhupalchowk. Shyam’s remaining details are yet to be identified. The truck’s asistant driver, Tulshi Dulal, 19, was able to jump for safety, according to Traffic Police Office, Gajuri.

Search for the missing duo is ongoing, the Police Office said.
