Manju Nepali, 23, of Jungu-3 died after a tree felled by the villagers fell upon her.
Some 40 villagers had gone to the forest in Falduk where a wildfire raged last year.
Nepali got married to Raju Nepali five years ago.
Raju is employed as a daily wage earner at the under-construction Upper Tamakoshi hydroelectric project.
