Information Officer at the District Police Office, Birendrabir Bishwakarma, stated that the road reopened on Wednesday evening after the accumulated landslide debris was cleared using bulldozers and excavators, in coordination with Kaligandaki Rural Municipality and the Road Division Office, Palpa.

Mud, sludge and large boulders had accumulated at multiple locations along the road, stretching from Rudrabeni in Satyawati Rural Municipality to the Harmichaur–Arbeni–Purtighat area.

Travelers commuting from the area to Tamghas, Baglung, Palpa, Butwal, and Pokhara had faced difficulties while the road was blocked. With the road now operational, public transport and other vehicles that had been halted have resumed their journeys to their respective destinations.
