JANAKPURDHAM, Jan 14: It is visible that tourists arriving here return after offering worship at Janaki Temple due to lack of necessary publicity of other tourism sites.
Janakpurdham is also considered the city of ponds; but more than 100 tourists arriving here are apparently focused on Janaki Temple with no body active to disseminate necessary information about the sites.
There is public complaint that no agency or body is paying due attention towards promoting tourism sites to encourage high flow of tourists for further stay.
Though there is high potential to cause the extended stay of tourists by making them known to other tourism sites including Dhanushadham, animandap, Jaleswor, Laxmi Narayan temple adjacent to popular Janaki temple, it has not been materialized due to apathy of the sides concerned, said Chairperson of Hotel Entrepreneurs Association, Dasharath Saha.
