Neela Subba, with support from pro-Nepali Congress University Teachers´ Association, padlocked the campus refusing to join Nursing Campus, Maharajgunj as per the transfer letter issued by Tribhuvan University (TU) Office of Dean on November 5.
The campus administration had threatened to cut her name from attendance register from Sunday after she refused to receive the transfer letter. Subba, who has been working in the campus for the past 32 years, said her transfer was against the TU regulations which require consent of the employee before being transferred.
