KATHMANDU, March 7: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Rubina Acharya has secured a resounding victory in Morang-6, defeating Nepali Congress (NC) heavyweight Dr Shekhar Koirala by a massive margin.
According to the final results, Acharya garnered 55,513 votes, while her closest rival, NC leader Dr Koirala, managed only 12,850 votes.

The margin of victory stood at 42,663 votes, marking one of the most decisive wins in the constituency.
In the same constituency, CPN-UML candidate Binod Prasad Dhakal finished third with 8,317 votes. Shram Sanskriti Party candidate Matrika Paudel received 3,400 votes, while Rastriya Prajatantra Party candidate Sabin Niraula secured 2,092 votes, placing fifth.
