Pun lifted 63 kg in snatch and won gold with the total lift of 146 kg in the category.
Meanwhile, Uttam Khatri of Nepal Police was adjudged best female weightlifter of the tournament. Khatri lifted 60 kg in snatch and 70 kg in clean and jerk to win gold in women´s 58 kg. Kabita Chaudhary from Saptari won gold in women´s 48 kg after lifting 47 kg in snatch and 50 kg in clean and jerk.
Devi Chaudhary of Nepal Police lifted 55 kg and 62 kg respectively in snatch as well as clean and jerk to become first in women´s 53 kg weight category. Rajya Laxmi Thapa of Nepal Police won the women´s 63 kg as she lifted 55 kg in snatch and 71 kg in clean and jerk.
The 10th South Asian gold medalist Kamal Bahadur Adhikari was adjudged best male weightlifter of the tournament. Nepal Army weightlifter Adhikari claimed gold medal in men´s 69 kg weight category as he lifted 107 kg in snatch and 150 kg in clean and jerk.
Bhairav Singh Thapa of Nepal Army stood first in men´s 77 kg weight category after lifting 90 kg in snatch and 115 kg in clean and jerk. Dinesh Shrestha of Nepal Army lifted 100 kg in snatch and 130 kg in clean and jerk to win gold medal in men´s 85 kg.
Likewise, Bikash Thapa of Nepal Police, Narayan Shrestha of Chitwan, Bipendra Maharjan of Nepal Police and Gopal Bahadur Shrestha of Ramechhap claimed first position in men´s 62 kg, 94 kg, 105 kg and plus 105 kg weight categories respectively.
