KATHMANDU, Dec 1: Nepali ambassadors for four different countries have taken the oath of office and secrecy. President Ram Chandra Paudel administered the oath to the Nepali ambassadors for the United States, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and Australia during a ceremony held at Sheetal Niwas on Sunday morning.
Lok Darshan Regmi has been appointed as Nepal's ambassador to the United States, Dr Shail Rupakheti to Germany, Dr Naresh Bikram Dhakal to Saudi Arabia, and Chitra Lekha Yadav to Australia.
Spokesperson for the President's Office, Shailaja Regmi Bhattarai, said that Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba, among others, was present at the oath-taking ceremony.
