Police rescues abducted NT official

MORANG, Aug 14: Police rescued Shekhar Pokhrel, the Supervisor of Nepal Tele Communication (NTC) Regional Office, Biratnagar Thursday night.



Pokhrel was abducted from Amahibela of Sunsari district by an unknown armed group while he was returning from his duty 28 days ago.



The joint team of Nepal Police and Indian Police rescued Pokhrel and held four abductors from Jibpur of Madhdyapura district in Bihar. No casualty is reported during the rescue operation.
