Prime Minister Sushil Koirala approved his resignation in line with the article 38(8) of the Nepal's Interim Constitution, 2007 today.
Earlier this morning, Minister Parajuli reached CPN-UML party Chairman KP Sharma Oli's personal residence, Balkot and submitted his resignation to him.

Following it, Oli handed over his resignation to PM Koirala.

Minister Parajuli was under pressure to quit from the post after photos and video footages gone viral on the online and social media showing him misbehaving with female participants at the function.
On Wednesday, various lawmakers had also demanded action against Minister Parajuli for allegedly harassing women in public place.
