TRISULI, Feb 11: A microbus collided with a motorcycle in Nuwakot on Monday, killing one person and injuring another.
According to the District Police Office, an electric microbus traveling from Kathmandu to Nuwakot hit a motorcycle at Amilebote, Likhu Rural Municipality-5. The accident resulted in the death of Purushottam Lamichhane from Uttar Gaya Rural Municipality-5, Rasuwa.
The motorcycle rider, 25-year-old Pramod Thapa from Uttargaya-5, sustained serious injuries and is undergoing treatment. Police have taken Narayan Bardewa, the microbus driver from Bidur Municipality-4, into custody for further investigation.
