TANAHUN, Aug 29: A girl died after being hit by a car in Tanahun. The deceased has been identified as Manisha Pariyar, aged 18.
The incident occurred when the car (Ba 1 Ya 1397) en route to Kathmandu from Pokhara hit Pariyar at Chunpahara of Bandipur rural municipality, informed Police Chief Purna Bahadur Adhikari.
Pariyar breathed her last while receiving treatment at Laxmi Hospital, Dumre.
An investigation has been launched against the car driver. The police have taken the car under their control.
