Ninth nat'l IT conference concludes

KATHMANDU, Jan. 26: The Ninth National IT Conference-2013 organized by the Information Technology Society Nepal concluded, today.



Representatives of various organizations working in the information technology sector, students of IT, and others, had attended the conference.



According to the Chairman of the Society, Chandra Bilas Bhurtel, the conference was organized with the objective of increasing awareness on the laws and stopping the growing cyber crimes in the country.



It was necessary to be serious that even the government websites were hacked time and again, and controlling the criminal activities committed through the internet has become urgent, he said.



During the program, the IT experts presented papers on the progress in the IT and method to protect the society from the negative impacts appear in this sector.
