KATHMANDU, March 5: Nepal Telecom has withdrawn its decision not to allow top-up of less than Rs 50 through digital means.

The telecom company has re-implemented the arrangement to allow top-up starting from Rs 10, reversing its decision a week ago to set a minimum price of Rs 50 for top-up through electronic means, including mobile wallets and mobile banking.

Nepal Telecom spokesperson Hari Dhakal confirmed that the decision to set a minimum price of Rs 50 for top-up has been revoked.

Following the decision, customers can now top-up from wallets including eSewa, Khalti, IME Pay and others, starting from a minimum of Rs 10.
