Speaking to journalists at Pokhara airport, NC leader Poudel further said, “New elections would be guaranteed if his party is given leadership of the next government”.
He, however, accused the ruling UCPN (Maoist) of being reluctant to handing over the government leadership to his party as the former doesn’t want elections.[break]
“I don’t know about the other parties but if NC gets opportunity to lead the government, new elections would be held,” Poudel added.
