Mortal remains of late Koirala immersed

Bhimduttanagar, Feb 21: Mortal remains of former Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala were immersed in the Mahakali river today.

The mortal remains of Koirala was immersed at Bhujelaghat in Mahakali river as per the decision of doing so in all 75 districts to mark 13th day of passing away of the leader.Kanchanpur NC Party President and lawmaker Bahadur Singh Thapa had brought the mortal remains from Kathmandu.

A large number of party leaders and cadres had gathered there for the same.

On the occasion, NC party leaders and cadres remembered Koirala's contribution to the nation and party. A condolence assembly was also organised at the NC Party office, Bhimduttanagar, said Party Secretary Bhoj Raj Bohara. RSS
