KATHMANDU, March 29: The weather is mostly clear throughout the rest of the country, with some cloud cover in the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali. The Meteorological Forecasting Division says that this is because of the combined partial influence of local winds and westerly winds.
The weather is expected to stay mostly clear in the rest of the country and partly cloudy in the hilly regions of the provinces of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim later this afternoon. According to the Division, there is a chance of light snowfall in a few locations in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi and Gandaki Provinces, as well as light rain with lightning in a few locations in the hilly areas.
The hilly regions of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Province will see some cloud cover tonight, while the other provinces will see mostly clear skies. In one or two locations in the hilly regions of the provinces of Koshi and Gandaki, there is a chance of intermittent lightning and light rain.
