Renu Thapa Magar, 13, of Thakle died when a leopard attacked her when she had gone to fetch water from a spout at night, Deputy Superintendent of Police Kedar Dhakal said.
Renu had left her home at 7 p.m. on Wednesday to fetch water. When she didn’t return for long, the villagers went searching for her and found her body near the spout.
