Sitaula revealed the fact that party President Shushil Koirala and senior leader of Sher Bahadur Deuba held talks to this effect and agreed to make NC leader Deuba the PP leader. "All the decisions will be made through consensus saying the selection of office bearers on Friday was also made in agreement," said Sitaula.[break]
Speaking at a press meet organized by Nepal Press Union, Lamjung, he said the peace and constitution writing processes were disrupted due to inter-party disputes in Unified CPN (Maoist).
He said it is the matter of surprise that Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal did not resign from his post though the five-point agreement was passed from Legislature-Parliament.
One among the five points in the agreement was related to Prime Minister Khanal´s resignation to clear the way to national consensus government.
The UCPN-Maoist should be sincere to conclude peace process and promulgate the new statute.
In the different note he said his name was included in Sudan scam due to political biasness refuting his involvement in the scam.
