English actor and director, Andy Serkis is in Nepal for the trek to Everest Base Camp. The trek is the part of his family challenge.
Andy Serkis, his wife, Lorraine Ashbourne and their two sons, Sonny Serkis and Louis Serkis are taking 17 days trek to the base camp of Mount Everest to raise the money for UK based charity, ‘Best Beginnings’. The charity supports parents for the better life of their children.
Serkis who plays Gollum in Peter Jackson’s franchise, ‘The Lord of the Rings’ announced the trek on his Instagram handle on Friday. He said he’ll continue posting the updates as long as the internet supports on the climb.
