Chelsea have witnessed a slight improvement in their performance as they drew games against Watford and Manchester United under the guidance of Hiddink, who returned to Stamford Bridge for his second spell after Jose Mourinho was sacked.
Hiddink said that Chelsea have started gathering points since the last three games, but insisted that his side must come into a winning period of games to lay a strong foundation for salvaging the season with success in the Champions League and FA Cup, Sport24 reported. Chelsea are 11 points behind the fifth-placed Crystal Palace and are only three points above the relegation zone.
