KATHMANDU, Feb 25: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Deepak Khadka has once again sought clarification from Managing Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Kulman Ghising within 24 hours.

The government had decided to remove Ghising after Monday's cabinet meeting. However, due to pressure from all sides, the government backed down.
Ghising has also been asked to provide clarification on how many times he has gone on domestic trips, vacations, and international trips since Khadka was appointed as the chairman of the NEA's board of directors. Minister Khadka had also asked for a nine-point clarification on January 6. The clarification letter on Tuesday stated that the submissions by Kulman Ghising on January 6 and January 12 were not satisfactory.
