CWIN Help-line Biratnagar has handled 472 similar cases over the last six months. It said nearly 2000 calls regarding child violence were received over the period.
According to Prakash Paudel, mediator of CWIN Biratnagar, most of the cases of child violence, especially among child laborers, include, among others, sexual abuse, severe beating and education deprivation.
