APF and Police vie for volleyball title

KATHMANDU, March 31: Defending champion APF Club and Nepal Police Club on Friday will vie for the title of the Armed Police Force IGP Third National Open Women's Volleyball Championship being held at the APF headquarters, Halchowk, Kathmandu.

On Thursday, Police beat Jawalakhel Training Center 25-11, 25-17, 25-12 to fix its final clash against APF that secured top position winning three matches in the tournament being played in round robin format. Police secured second position despite winning three matches.

Meanwhile, Western Region beat Dhorpatan 25-10, 25-10, 25-9. In another match, Dhorpatan recorded 25-16, 25-22, 25-23 win over Jawalakhel.
