Furniture, documents, computers of District Forestry Office, District Education Office and District Livestock Development Office were destroyed in the fire. According to police, irate cadres entered the office by smashing the main door, poured kerosene and set fire to them.
Protesters have been continuing the demonstration programs at Bhardaha, Kanchanpur, Hanumannagar, Rupani, Kalyanpur, Kadmaha areas of the district since early morning. They have also obstructed the highway by placing wooden logs across the road.
