Budhathki´s schoolmate Ram Kumari Acharya finished second and Deepa Basnet of Kendriya secured the third position in the women´s category, while Aman Kumar Singh of Birat Bahira Higher Secondary School, Biratnagar and Roshan Gurung of Srijana Higher Secondary School claimed the second and third positions respectively in the men´s category.[break]
In the blind women´s long-jump, Sanita Bhattarai, Roshni Adhikari and Sajita Pandey all from Laboratory School stood first, second and third positions respectively. In the same event of the men´s category, Manoj Gautam of Purbanchal Gyanchakshu, Dharan won gold while Anil Chaudhary and Deepak Chaudhary secured silver and bronze respectively.
Apsara Kafle of Sanjivini School won gold in the visually impaired women´s long-jump event. Durgi Kumal and Sarita Lamichhane finished second and third respectively.
In the same event in men´s category, Sujan Karki of Amar Singh Higher Secondary School, Pokhara claimed gold while Jeevan Bista and Keshav Raj Bikram finished second and third respectively.
Bikram won gold in men´s shot put. Sushant Adhikari and Jeevan Bista won silver and bronze respectively in the event.
Sushma Jimba of Kendriya Bahira Higher Secondary School finished first, and Kabita Chaudahry came second in the women´s 400 m race for the deaf. Sangita Basnet settled for the third position.
In the men´s 400 m race for the deaf, Santosh Pokharel of Kendriya won gold. Suman Shrestha and Roshan Gurung trailed behind to finish as first runner-up and second runner-up respectively. Jaya Kumar Chaudhary won gold in the men´s 200 m race for the deaf.
In the 100 m race for the disabled, Prem Bahadur BK of Sarlahi and Sarita Nepali of Khagendra Nava Jeevan Kendra won gold in the men´s and women´s category respectively. BK also won gold in the 200 m race for the disabled. Ramila Rimal of Khagendra Nava Jeevan won gold in the women´s category of the same event.
