“We have agreed to work together on the issues of state restructuring, peace process, constitution writing, nationality, among others,” lawmaker of the Nepal Pariwar Dal Eknath Dhakal told Republica.

Dr Prakashchandra Lohani, the co-chairman of Rashtriya Janashakti Party, argued that the alliance has emerged as the fifth political power.

NRM has altogether 34 lawmakers. Madhes-based five political parties, aligned under United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF), claims itself as the fourth power.
