Kathmandu Valley’s air quality deteriorates Thursday evening

KATHMANDU, Jan 21: The quality of air in the Kathmandu Valley has deteriorated in the evening. The country’s capital city, on Thursday, recorded the highest PM 2.5 reading of 200.87 µg/m3 between 5 PM and 6 PM.
Air pollution level drops to 68 µg/m3 between 4 and 5AM with highest reading of 198 µg/m3 between 9 and 10AM

KATHMANDU, Jan 19: Though the air pollution level on Tuesday dropped to 68 µg/m3 early in the morning between 4 and 5, the dust particles began filling the air in Kathmandu, the federal capital city of the country, from 9AM as people started their normal activities. The highest PM 2.5 reading was measured in the country’s most populated city at 198 µg/m3.

KATHMANDU, Jan 17: The Kathmandu Valley where the country’s federal capital is located, has witnessed a slight improvement in the quality of air as the highest PM 2.5 reading of 145.72µg/m3 (between 9AM and 10AM) was recorded on Sunday compared to the 226.11 µg/m3 measured between 9 AM and 10 AM on Saturday.
