Private investment in schools tops Rs 500 billion

KATHMANDU, Jan 14: Promoters of private education in the country has invested Rs 500 billion in their institutions. The investment is for physical infrastructure and human resources. The annual total income of private institutions (fees received from students) has reached Rs 200 billion.

KATHMANDU, Jan 14: The National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) has initiated a survey to identify households in all the 31 earthquake-affected districts that don't have family members of working age and therefore face difficulties with the reconstruction of their houses.  NRA aims to provide additional support to such households for house reconstruction.
