Renowned actress Manisha Koirala honored in British Parliament

KATHMANDU, Oct 28: Renowned actress Manisha Koirala was honored during a special function organized at the British Parliament on Friday evening. Nepalese actress Koirala received this honor for her significant contribution to Bollywood and the South Indian movie industry over the past three decades. In addition to this, she was also recognized for her active role in the social sector during the program.

Imran Hussain, a member of the British House of Commons for Bradford East, extended the invitation to Koirala. Koirala's contribution was acknowledged at an exclusive parliamentary reception hosted alongside the editor-in-chief of the Asian Standard magazine, Fatima Patel, during the event held at the British Parliament.
