Youth arrested for rape

DHADING, March 22: A youth from Mahadevsthan-8 of the district has been arrested on charge of raping a girl child.

The police arrested Bal Bahadur Tamang, 24, with the help of local people. He had fled after raping a girl while she was grazing goats.



The Area Police Office Gajuri said Tamang was kept in detention.

After the investigation, the police are to file a rape case against Tamang. The victim girl has been taken to the District Hospital for treatment.
