KATHMANDU, Jan 24: The United States Embassy in Kathmandu has launched a Webchat Program to help provide information to all concerned about U.S. visa applications.

The Webchat launched by the Consular Section of the Embassy on Friday is an online forum for asking questions related to U.S. visas. According to a press statement issued by the Embassy, the Webchat will address one issue at a time and the first Webchat will be accepting questions on the Diversity Visa. One can post questions by following these steps until January 29 through the URL https://statedept.connectsolutions.com/kathmandu/.
The statement said all those asking questions can check the U.S. Embassy Website at http://nepal.usembassy.gov/ or the Webchat website to see the answers after February 2, 2009.
